If you engage in the act of writing you are invited to complete this survey. Whether you write for creative expression, as a personal practice only, as part of your profession or anything in between!
This survey is gathering feedback from local writers on their interest in joining a new community of writers at the Quillkeycara Slow Writing Space. The slow writing space is a heritage building on the Surf Coast that has electricity but is an 'off-line' writing space without internet access. The heritage building is co-located with outdoor nature spaces, and community play spaces which may support increased creativity, emotional regulation, healthy movement breaks, enhanced productivity and sense of personal wellbeing.

It's rarely glamorous putting in the work to build what you want in the world. My goal is to leave this old bluestone school in regional Victoria better than when I first found it. Research shows that humans place significantly more value in something when we've invested our effort into them, and I already love this place!
I've been writing in the school house, around the mess the dust, and the stale smells. Writing in the cold with every door and window (some I had to clean and gently pry open they'd been unused for so long) open so it can air out. With my favourite incense burning and essential oils dripped on dried banksia cones. The work feels good here. 😌
Sharing some thoughts from a reflective writing session with a supportive card spread this morning. Something new is being birthed for the Creative Crow, a new service offering for individual work that focuses on self exploration and transformation.

It's been busy here in my world recently. I love my work within this Creative Crow space but I also have a day job (well two actually), young children and lots of ideas all competing for air time. I decided last year I needed a space and some community where I can explore my big, passionate ideas and interests including my own spiritualityand learning and personal intuitive practices. These all relate to what I want to keep building here. I have plans that include face to face workshops, online courses/community/coaching, resources to support intuition in self care practice, I'm quietly working on a book that explores grounding personal intuition practices in social justice foundations, and some more niche individual and group services that promote personal growth.
Today that intention I put out into the world barely six months ago arrived, I convened the first gathering of the Intuitives & Creatives Personal Practice Group (Geelong & Surf Coast) and it was wonderful 🌈✨ I don't think I'll ever stop being fascinated by the everyday magic of intention + aligned action = manifestation ie. *This is actually happening* 🤩

How are you taking care of yourself this weekend?
I absolutely needed some self care and reflection today. After a big week, in a busy month of huge year! My daughter and I also did a spot of op shopping and found that some treasures fo a little bit of bonus dopamine 😂
