Photos of students can only be published if the correct Department of Education permission to publish forms have been completed by the student’s parent or guardian. The photo must be removed after one year of publishing unless further permission from the parent is sought. For privacy and protection, please do not tag photos of children, and please do not name them in your comments, unless the previously mentioned permissions is sought. On rare occasions and with parental permission, students may be named by the school Facebook administration team. Tagging of parents or friends within the comment box is permitted with the understanding that all other rules of engagement are followed. Comments -

🏐NSW Schools Cup Netball
Toronto High School was proudly represented by six teams at the NSW Schools Cup Netball competition recently, with students competing in the Year 7/8 and 9/10 divisions.
It was a fantastic day of competition, with our students showing plenty of enthusiasm, teamwork and sportsmanship on the court. The teams worked well together throughout the day and encouraged each other across every game.
A big congratulations to all of our players for their effort, positive attitude and the way they represented Toronto High School.
Well done!

Criminology Workshop Day!
As part of National Skills Week, Toronto High School students from Years 9-11 joined EPP Lake Macquarie for an exciting Criminology Workshop Day delivered by Luke from Crime Story!

Students got hands-on with interactive crime scene investigations, developing skills in

💭communication and

🤝teamwork

Students also explored post-school pathways and university degrees through a presentation from the University of Newcastle.

Hands-On Automotive Careers Experience!

Our students recently took part in an exciting Multi-Discipline Automotive Taster Program, delivered by Regional Industry Education Partnerships (RIEP) in partnership with Major Training Group (MTG) and local employer TEFOL.

Students got hands-on experience across mechanics, heavy machinery, auto electrical, diagnostics, motorcycling, tools and workplace safety, while exploring the wide range of career pathways available in the automotive industry.

A fantastic opportunity for our students to gain practical skills, industry insights and inspiration for their future careers!

A big thank you to RIEP, MTG and TEFOL for providing this valuable hands-on learning experience.
