August is here and we have a a whole lot in stall for the children!
Friendly reminder - School Photos are next week on Tuesday 18th and Thursday 20th! Dress in your best and bring your smiles 🙂 📸🤩

The Parrots are in for an extra special treat on Wednesday 19th. The Living Safely with Dogs Incursion will bring a very special Dog to visit us to guide the children about ways to safely interact with dogs! 🐶 🐾

It’s everyone’s favourite time of the year! Book Week 2026 - Symphony of stories will run from Monday 24th- Friday 28th and the children will be invited to dress up as their favourite character! Over the week they will be immersed in the world of stories and develop their love for books! We will also be holding a colouring in competition which will be available at the front desk📚 ❤️

🌱 “Being Prepared To Start School” 🧠
Our school readiness program at Kinda Kapers Toronto support’s children with an understanding of social, emotional, physical and early learning abilities to cope with the school environment. We aim to challenge and develop children’s knowledge and confidence within all key learning areas: language and literacy, numeracy, STEM, wellness and well-being, physical motor and creative arts.

A big thank you to everyone who donated and was apart of our pirate day event last Friday. We raised $54 to go towards childhood brain cancer research!! 🤍

🌈 Big News from the Playground! 🌈

We are thrilled to unveil our freshly resurfaced toddler outdoor area this week!

Check out what’s new:
- Vibrant New Artificial Turf: Providing a lush, green, and soft space for sitting, crawling, and playing all year round. 🌿

- Resurfaced Bike Track: Ready for our mini-racers to zoom around and develop those gross motor skills! 🚲💨

- Safety First: We’ve installed fall-rated surfaces throughout the play zone to ensure peace of mind during every jump and tumble. 🛡️

A huge thank you to our families for your patience during the construction. Our mission is always to provide the best possible environment for your children to learn, grow, and play.

✨ BIG NEWS FOR AUSSIE FAMILIES! Introducing the CCS '3 Day Guarantee' from January 2026! 🥳

Get ready a big change to Child Care Subsidy (CCS) that will make early learning more accessible and affordable for thousands of families!

From January 5, 2026, the strict Activity Test is being replaced with the new '3 Day Guarantee.' What does this mean for you?

✅ Guaranteed 3 Days of Care: All CCS-eligible families will automatically receive a minimum of 72 hours of subsidised care per fortnight for each child—the equivalent of three days a week! You no longer need to meet minimum work, study, or volunteer hours to access this support.

✅ A Huge Win for Flexibility: This removes the stress of tracking activity hours, giving stay-at-home parents, casual workers, and families with fluctuating schedules the certainty of consistent, affordable care.

✅ Enhanced Support for First Nations Families: Families caring for an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander child will automatically be entitled to 100 hours of subsidised care per fortnight.

💰 Potential Savings: This change could save some families thousands of dollars per year, making quality early education a reality for more children.

Why this matters: Consistent attendance in early learning is vital for your child's development and school readiness. This guarantee makes it easier to give your child the best possible start in life!

**If you already receive CCS, your entitlement will automatically increase if you were previously getting less than 72 hours.
