10-12 FOOTBALL FAMILIES; PLEASE SHARE ACROSS YOUR NETWORKS ...

1. The boys selected in the Possibles and Probables teams will play at St Mary's College, Toowoomba. Please meet with officials at 8:45 a.m. Parking is encouraged in the stadium car park off Herries Street. Every school of those boys has been emailed with this news.

2. The girls' trial will now take place at Harristown State High School, again meeting with officials at 8:45 a.m. Access to the oval will be through Gate 13 off Stephens Street. Every school of those girls has been emailed with this news.

Update:
We really need to get these trials completed so uniforms can be ordered and teams can train. TRC grounds are CLOSED, reducing options.

1. The Dalby grounds are unsafe, so the selectors have named their Possibles and Probables teams. Our office will email the schools of those players with advice about the location of that game tomorrow; at this stage, it is likely to be at St Mary's in Toowoomba.

2. We are trying to gain access to Harristown State High School for the girls to trial there. Again, we will email schools as soon as we have an answer.

We're a bit over the weather at the moment! That blue dot is Dalby and you can see there have been some heavy falls at football trials. Due to lightning and making sure players are safe, the officials have paused for 30 minutes and are re-assessing how the rest of the day looks. If there is to be any change to the girls' trial tomorrow, we will post here and email schools as well.

Darling Downs School Sport is hosting the 10–19 Years Cross Country State Championships at Highfields Sport and Recreation Park from Saturday 18 July to Monday 20 July.

We are expecting up to 3,000 attendees across the weekend.

We would like to provide as much notice as possible to residents and community members so they can plan ahead for the increased activity in the area.

In consultation with convenors of 11-12 and 13-14 Years Girls Rugby League and 10-12 Softball, we will be pushing ahead with those trials tomorrow. Please share widely; we will be dropping off gear in the morning at those venues and not wanting to take lots of calls about the same query.

Safe travels to our support officer, Sarah, as she heads off to Europe and then Oxford!

A number of trials happen this week around the region. The final levy reports were sent for 10-12 Football late last week and those for Softball and Rugby League will be sent tomorrow morning (meaning they close at midnight TONIGHT).
