Know someone who'd thrive at The Industry School?✨

Word of mouth is at the heart of our community, and our families are our best advocates. When you share your positive experience with friends, neighbours, or your wider network, it makes a genuine difference to incoming students finding their path.

To thank you for helping us grow, our Bring a Mate (BAM) Program rewards current and recent families who introduce new students to our school.

How it works:

Share: Talk about your experience at The Industry School with families outside our community.

Apply: When they submit an online application, they list you as their referral.

Enrol: Once their young person commences with us, you receive a $50 EFTPOS Card as our way of saying thanks.

Help another local family discover a better way to learn for our January 2027 intake.

Full terms and conditions are available hereπŸ‘‡

Amazing work Georgia! πŸ‘πŸ‘

Another win for Georgia! Her first canvas bag, finished during her work experience placement with The Industry School - Toowoomba.

From a tonneau cover in her first week to a fully finished canvas bag, red and blue and built to last. It has been great watching the skills come together so quickly! πŸ’ͺ🏼

🎲 Maths meets creativity! Our Year 10 students have been busy designing, creating, and testing their own board games as part of their probability unit.
By planning game outcomes and trialling their designs, students explored how probability works in real-life situations while developing problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, also incorporating geometry and measurement.
A fantastic hands-on way to bring mathematics to life!

πŸŒπŸ”¨ Cambodia ISP Journey Begins! πŸ”¨πŸŒ

Last weekend, our four Cambodia-bound students attended the ISP Cambodia Induction with BOSCH at Emu Gully, Mt Tamborine.

The students participated in hands-on training, learning how to safely and effectively use the tools and equipment they will be working with when they travel to Cambodia to help build a house for a local family in need.

The induction provided valuable practical skills, teamwork opportunities, and a deeper understanding of the important work that lies ahead. We are incredibly proud of their commitment, enthusiasm, and willingness to make a positive difference in the lives of others.

We look forward to following their journey and sharing more updates as they prepare for this life-changing experience. ❀️🏠

What an incredible opportunity today to hear Aunty Gail Mabo speak as part of The University of Queensland's Yarning Series.

Aunty Gail generously shared stories about her family's lands, the enduring connection to Country, and her experiences growing up with the rich culture and traditions of Mer Island. Her storytelling left a lasting impression on all who attended.

A heartfelt thank you to Aunty Gail Mabo, the Cobb+Co Museum, and The University of Queensland for bringing this inspiring and enriching event to our community.

Our Industry Consultant, Sarah visited some of our young people in their work place at TUFF Australia and it was so rewarding to see them in their element, working confidently and independently and building towards their chosen career pathway.
