A stellar showing in our new DET Centre this week, as our Careers Expo 'Beyond the Blue & Gold' brought together an exceptional line-up of industry and tertiary leaders.
From senior leaders of one of Australia’s largest beef processors to representatives across law, aviation, resources, health, property and the ADF, alongside Brisbane 2032 highlighting future Olympic pathways, our boys had genuine access to those shaping what comes next. It was brilliant to see some Old Boys in the mix too!
For our students, it was a chance not just to explore options, but to engage with them in a meaningful way.
A sincere thank you to our Careers Team, led by Mrs Anthea Richters, for delivering an event of this scale so seamlessly and to all exhibitors, staff and Prefects Harry Rogers, Austin Webster and Luke Burrow for their support.

We’re delighted to welcome Travis Dowling as our new Director of Performing Arts.
With a background in professional theatre, tertiary education and youth programs, he brings both experience and fresh energy to the role.
Just as comfortable talking footy and cricket as he is the stage, Travis knows the connection between teamwork, discipline and performance.
We look forward to seeing boys find their place in the arts and their confidence grow under his leadership.

A joyful morning at Rhyme Time, with plenty of curiosity and new friendships forming.
Our future boys explored classrooms, shared stories in the library, met Ting Tong and enjoyed morning tea together.
A small glimpse of Junior School life, finished with a few souvenirs and those much-loved Ting Tong socks.
A lovely way for families to begin getting to know our community.

For many years, our youngest students have been introduced to the traditions and story of the School.
Acting Headmaster Mr John Anderson recently gave our Prep boys insight into our more than 150-year history in Old Hall, before a tour of School House.
The boys marvelled at the Honour Boards and even had the chance to sit at the Boardroom table, still used each month by the School’s Board of Trustees.
Perhaps a future Trustee in the making?

There’s something special about welcoming Collège Baudoux students into our community each year.
For one week, classrooms sounded a little different, filled with French conversation, laughter and new friendships forming across cultures.
From lessons to shared meals with host families, it’s an experience that brings language to life and builds confidence in ways no textbook can, read more in our BLOG: https://tinyurl.com/2b2n4nyz
Thank you to our families and staff who make this exchange possible, we can’t wait for the next chapter in Nouméa.
