Happy Educator's Day to our fabulous team.

We had sweet treats, a build-your-own burrito bowl station and, of course, a special gift for each educator.

The Kindergarten children drew their own representations of our educators. Throughout the week, we are gathering family and child feedback on what they are thankful for about our educators and service practices, which will help update our Quality Improvement Plan and Service Philosophy.

Kindergarten had a visit from LabKids today, where we explored how Air is used for breathing and is all around us.

We explored the concept that it can not be seen, but it can be trapped inside a bubble or balloon, and as it wants to escape, it can make objects move.

With a lot of laughter and excitement, we tested this theory on large rocket balloons, large bubble wands, balloon-pumped cars, pumps making light balls levitate, rocket launching and even pulsating air and fog through the air. Some of this learning was extended afterwards with our own rocket launcher so everybody could have a turn!
