This week our team came together for a professional development session with Phoenix Support for Educators, focusing on social and emotional learning.

We explored the theory behind social and emotional learning and, importantly, what this looks like in practice. We took time to reflect on our own social and emotional needs as humans and individuals before exploring strategies we can use to support children’s social and emotional learning and development.

A much anticipated visit from Ditto!

Our Kindy children enjoyed an engaging session with Ditto’s Keep Safe Adventure Program, reinforcing the important work we do throughout the year to promote children’s understanding of body safety, safe and unsafe feelings, speaking up and knowing the trusted adults they can turn to for help. 📚✨ Day 4 of Book Week!

The Book Week fun continued with another round of fabulous costumes! We had so much fun getting into character through dance, movement, facial expressions, voices and storytelling. Matching costumes brought an extra level of joy as our educators and children bonded over shared favourite stories and characters 📖🎭
