Our Colour Run is fast approaching on 18 September, and we are looking forward to what promises to be a wonderful day of fun, laughter, and community spirit. The Heron Eye Care Primary Teams Chess Classic lit up the Toowoomba Showgrounds today — knights flying, pawns hustling, and kids thinking three moves ahead like tiny masterminds.

Chess wasn’t quiet today… it crackled.

Big vote of thanks to Ben from the Toowoomba Chess Club for helping prepare the competitors this year.

🌟 New Playground Equipment Has Arrived! 🌟

We are excited to share our fantastic new playground equipment for students to enjoy at playtimes! Not only do we have brand-new soccer goals ready for action, but each class has also received a collection of fun resources, including balls, handballs, and more.

We can't wait to see our students running, kicking, bouncing, throwing, sharing, and having a great time together. Along with all the fun comes the important responsibility of caring for our new equipment so everyone can enjoy it for years to come.

⚽🏀 P.S. A huge thank you to all the wonderful parents who have rescued runaway balls from over fences, out of gardens, and even off roofs! Your support helps keep the games going, and we are very grateful for your assistance now and in the future. 😊

Don't forget to grab your tickets for Bingo Disco on Thursday night. We've got prizes, an awesome caller and lots of fun to be had. People of all ages are welcome to play, it is only $10 per player. All students must be accompanied by an adult.

Congratulations to our outstanding athletes on their achievements at the Darling Downs Athletics Trials and their selection in the Darling Downs Team to compete at the State Championships in October.

Our Bookweek Parade was spectacular today. Big shout out of thanks to our parents for the costumes, you did a great job! Another big shout of thanks to Mrs Toye in the library for all of the great activities that were on offer over the course of the week. Our P&F is looking forward to welcoming families to our Father's Day Breakfast on Thursday morning. A reminder that students on the Bottom Oval must be accompanied by an adult. For students whose parents need to leave for work and are unable to stay, pancakes will be available in the Quad and then can head up to the Top Oval for supervised play.

We have our Father's Day Liturgy starting at 8:40am in the Sportscentre with a special photo montage to share. If you would like to be a part of this please email a picture of your student with their Dad to [email protected].
We will need to close off photo entries by 3pm on Monday 31st August 2026 to allow time to create this project.
