Goodstart Early Learning Jobs Find at Goodstart Early Learning

Today D engaged in a construction experience within the quiet corner, using stacking gems to create a variety of towers on top of a box. Daniel carefully balanced and arranged the gems, showing persistence and concentration throughout the experience. When educators admired his constructions, Daniel confidently described the towers using mathematical language, explaining that the towers were “big,” “medium” and “small.” He also identified and discussed the colours used within his creations.

N engaged in hands-on exploration while playing with magnets, demonstrating curiosity and problem-solving skills. As he manipulated the magnets, he began to notice how they would stick together and also push away from each other.

On Tuesday in Toddlers we decided to have a run outside while it wasn’t raining. We all totally enjoyed the run around and kept busy climbing and jumping off the obstacle course, digging in the sandpit, playing with our friends, pushing cars and trucks around, throwing balls and playing with the magnets on the board.

Today we had two little friends all together with everyone working on their cognitive and motor skills. First the children investigated the boxes; often finding smaller boxes inside and wrapped in foil and baking paper. Later the children worked on their motor skills with Olly practicing supported standing and Alex strengthening his ability to grasp moving objects in his hand with the mobile.

Kindergarten children were excited to wish Miss Elle a very Happy 18th Birthday today, for her birthday on the weekend. Elle will spend a week at the coast celebrating with friends, and we look forward to having her back on May 25th.
