🎶 Choral Eisteddfod Success! 🎶
Our GCS choirs represented the school beautifully at this year’s Choral Eisteddfod.
On Friday, our Years 3–6 choir performed Those Magnificent Men in Their Flying Machines and Skye Boat Song, receiving wonderful feedback for their clear diction, energetic rhythm, accurate pitch, and excellent blend.
On Saturday, our Junior Choir (Years 3–4) sang He’s Got the Whole World in His Hands and K*m Ba Yah, and were awarded 1st Place in a field of 10 competitors! The adjudicator praised their beautiful blend, clean unison, and simple singing beautifully executed.
We are thankful to God for this wonderful opportunity and proud of all our students. Special thanks to Ms Kathryn Stewart for her dedication to the choir and to Mrs Lorraine Miller for her accompaniment.

~ Mother's Day Breakfast ~
On a chilly morning, our school community came together to celebrate the wonderful mums and mother figures in our lives with a warm Mother’s Day breakfast. Parents enjoyed delicious ham and cheese croissants, and later in the day our community group hosted a wonderful Mother’s Day stall.
We are so grateful for all the love, care, and support our mums bring to our school community. Wishing all our mums and mother figures a very happy Mother’s Day!
