The students of St Mary’s College and are proud to present Catch Me If You Can – The Musical this week ✈️
To mark the beginning of production week, the cast were thrilled to receive and hear a letter from the real Frank Abagnale Jr, all the way from New York. The excitement in the room was unforgettable and made for a truly special moment as the cast prepares to take the stage.
A sincere thank you to St Mary’s teacher Mr John Parker for organising this incredible opportunity for our students.
We wish the entire cast and crew all the very best for their performances.

We were pleased to be a part of Launchpad 2027, welcoming students from across the Darling Downs to St Mary’s College for an exciting, hands-on exploration of aerospace and advanced manufacturing.
In partnership with Boeing Defence Australia and industry leaders, students engaged with real-world technologies, participated in interactive workshops, and gained valuable insight into future career pathways in aviation and defence.
As Toowoomba continues to grow as a hub for aerospace innovation, opportunities like this are helping to inspire and prepare the next generation of young men and women.

Our students made outstanding moves at the Toowoomba Catholic Schools Interschool Chess Championships, held at the Micah Centre across two exciting days of competition.
On the Thursday, our primary team gave it their all across seven challenging rounds, proudly representing St Mary’s. A special congratulations to David Pillar, who secured an impressive 2nd place finish! 👏
The Friday saw our Years 5–10 students step up for the secondary championship, delivering incredible performances throughout the day. With the leaderboard constantly shifting, we were thrilled to have six students place in the top 10, including:
▪ Joshua Collins – 2nd place
▪ Thomas Smith – 1st place
Beyond the results, all students demonstrated skill, determination and sportsmanship, truly embodying what it means to be a St Mary’s Man.
