🌱🍅 Year 2B at NatureWise Academy have been enjoying a wonderful hands-on learning experience through their kitchen garden program!
Students have been busy growing, harvesting, and selling fresh produce while developing valuable real-world skills along the way. Through the program, they are learning how to handle money, give change, and apply their mathematical knowledge in practical and meaningful ways.
Alongside caring for the garden, students are also building responsibility, developing an understanding of sustainability, and learning more about where our food comes from.
We warmly invite community members to visit on Wednesdays from 12–1pm to purchase some of the fresh produce grown by our students. We’re so proud of their hard work and enthusiasm! 👏🥕🌿

🔬🎶 Last week, our Senior Science students explored the fascinating world of sound and vibration through a hands-on Chladni plate experiment!
By sprinkling sand onto a vibrating metal plate, students watched as incredible geometric patterns appeared before their eyes. As the plate vibrated at different frequencies, sound waves created areas of movement and stillness, known as “nodes.” The sand was shaken away from the vibrating sections and settled along the nodes, revealing intricate patterns that changed with each new frequency.
This engaging experiment gave students a visual and memorable demonstration of sound waves, resonance, and vibration in action — bringing abstract physics concepts to life in a creative and exciting way.
A fantastic example of curiosity, creativity, and science coming together in the classroom! 👏✨

🥊💪 Our Grade 5 and 6 students have been loving the fitness-based boxing club run by Mr Jentz during lunch breaks!
With sessions being strictly non-contact, the club has provided a fantastic opportunity for both boys and girls to improve their fitness, coordination, and confidence in a fun and supportive environment.
Students are learning how to channel their energy into a positive and disciplined sport, with a strong focus on safety, self-control, and respect for others. Each session includes combination drills, footwork practice, and plenty of encouragement along the way.
Most importantly — the students are absolutely loving it! 👏😊
