We are excited to celebrate 'Sunglasses Day' on Friday 26th June! We invite all children to wear their favourite pair on sunglasses and join in a day of fun and learning about the importance of protecting our eyes from the sun.
Whether they're bright, colourful or sparkly, we can't wait to see everyone's stylish shades! 🌞🕶️

The children had a fantastic time with Future Fit Kids today, taking part in soccer and tennis lessons! 🎾⚽️🎾⚽️
Through a range of fun and engaging activities, the children practised important skills including kicking, ball control, hand-eye coordination, balance, and teamwork. It was wonderful to see everyone giving it a go, encouraging their friends, and building confidence as they learnt new skills.
Programs like Future Fit Kids help children develop a love of physical activity while supporting their gross motor development, social skills, and overall wellbeing.
There were plenty of smiles, laughter, and active learning throughout the session, and we can’t wait to see what exciting sports activities are planned next!

Our educators recently completed their annual fire safety training, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge and skills to respond confidently in the event of an emergency.
The training provided valuable hands-on experience in fire prevention, emergency procedures, evacuation processes, and the correct use of fire safety equipment. Regular training like this helps us maintain a safe and secure environment for all children, families, and staff.
At Springs Early Education on Jewell, the safety and wellbeing of our children is always our highest priority. We are proud of our dedicated team for their ongoing commitment to professional development and emergency preparedness.

Today, we were fortunate to welcome Officer Hope and Officer Michael to Springs Early Education as part of Thank a First Responder Day… 🚔👮🏻👮🏻♀️🚨
The children enjoyed learning all about the important role police officers play in keeping our community safe. Officer Hope and Officer Michael shared what they do each day and brought along some special equipment for the children to explore, including breathalysers. The children also had the opportunity to try on a police vest and handcuffs, which was a very exciting experience!
The highlight of the visit was getting to head outside to see the police car up close and have a look inside. There were lots of smiles, questions, and enthusiastic future police officers in the making!
A huge thank you to Officer Hope and Officer Michael for taking the time to visit us and helping our children learn more about the valuable work of our first responders. We appreciate everything you do for our community. 👮♀️👮♂️🚓

🚴♀️🚴 Bike Safety Week 🚴♂️🚴
What a fantastic time celebrating Bike Safety Week we have had at Springs Early Education on Jewell!
Our children brought their bikes and scooters along and enjoyed riding around our car park while learning valuable bike safety skills. Throughout the week, educators discussed the importance of wearing helmets, following road safety rules, being aware of others around us, and riding safely.
The children had so much fun developing their confidence, coordination, and road awareness while enjoying active outdoor play with their friends.
A big thank you to our families for supporting this exciting learning experience and helping us promote safe riding habits from an early age.

Tuesday- Pre Prep children will take part in our bike safety fun!
Wednesday- Senior Kindy will take part in our bike safety fun!
The children will be learning the rules of the road, practicing our balance and discussing helmet safety. Don't forget you bikes/scooters and helmets!

On Monday, Springs on Jewell will enjoy a visit from Maggie Moo! Maggie Moo will also visit our Senior Kindy and Pre Prep children on Friday for Auslan lessons!
