The Father's Day Gift Shop is on TOMORROW, Wednesday 2nd September, in the school hall. This year, there's a great range of gifts to purchase from $1 to $6. Each child may purchase gifts using CASH or FLEXISCHOOLS. Our menu of gifts is attached.

Flexischools purchases close at 2pm on Tuesday 1st September.

For students who are unable to attend on Wednesday, the stall will also be open for an encore AFTER school on Thursday 3rd September - with no purchase limits and cash only on Thursday, located between the Library and Hall.

FATHERS DAY RAFFLE

Raffle tickets are available for just 50c per ticket, with multiple gifts to win! The raffle will be drawn on Thursday morning and announced throughout the day. Winners can collect their raffle prizes from the office.

Volunteers Needed

We would greatly appreciate any parents and friends who can spare an hour or two to join the fun and share the gift-giving joy as we run the stall on Wednesday or Thursday. If you're available, please contact Rosie 0403 509 968 or notify the office.

NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING

P&C Meeting: Wednesday 12th August 5:40pm for 5:45pm start. Staff room, administration building at Gabbinbar School. Our P&C General Meeting will follow at 6:00pm.

Volunteering with our P&C is a meaningful way to support young people and help shape the school community they grow up in. If you’ve ever felt the desire to give back or make a difference close to home, we’d love to welcome you alongside us.

A huge thank you to the amazing students, families and staff at Gabbinbar State School P&C for raising $325 through a recent free dress day in support of Hope for Our Children.

Every dollar raised helps us provide Bags of Hope to children entering emergency care, giving them essential items and a little extra comfort during what can be a very difficult time.

Thank you for choosing to support vulnerable children in our community. Your kindness, generosity and community spirit will make a real difference to the lives of children across the Darling Downs. We are so grateful for your support! 💙
