Our talented Service Chef prepared delicious savoury scones served with fresh watermelon this week, providing a nutritious and balanced snack for our children to enjoy.

Building on the children's interest in making cups of coffee and tea, our educators extended their learning through a coffee painting experience. ☕🎨
This sensory-rich activity encouraged creativity and imagination while supporting the development of fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination and self-expression. By following the children's interests, we create meaningful opportunities for exploration, engagement and learning through play. ✨

Today, we were lucky enough to welcome the Toowoomba Fire Department to our centre as part of Thank a First Responder Day. 🚒❤️

The children had an unforgettable experience exploring the fire truck, watching the flashing lights, and speaking with our local firefighters about the important role they play in keeping our community safe. Experiences like these help children build an understanding of the people who help us every day while creating lasting memories.

🍎👩‍🍳 Little Voices, Big Ideas! 👩‍🍳🍎

Our Kindergarten children recently met with our Centre Chef to share their ideas for upcoming menu items. From favourite fruits and vegetables to healthy meal suggestions, the children loved having a say in what they would like to see on the menu.

Providing opportunities for children to contribute to decisions helps foster confidence, belonging, and positive relationships with food. We can't wait to bring some of their ideas to life! 🌟
