We are absolutely thrilled to announce that the incredible Danny Brown will be joining us for our 3-Day Actor's Intensive School Holiday Program in both Brisbane and Toowoomba, where he will be leading an exclusive Shakespeare & Classical Theatre Workshop for our young performers.

Known for his extensive work across stage and screen, exceptional classical training, and decades of professional experience, Danny brings a wealth of industry knowledge to this unique training opportunity.

Danny Brown is a British-born, Brisbane-based actor and classically trained performer with over two decades of experience across theatre, film, and television. A graduate of the prestigious Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art in London, Danny has built an impressive career performing Shakespeare and classical theatre throughout the UK and Australia.

His extensive stage credits include King Lear, Romeo & Juliet, Henry V, Julius Caesar, and The Merchant of Venice, while his screen work includes appearances in Boy Swallows Universe, Thor: Ragnarok, The Brighton Miracle, EastEnders, and Dunny Derby.

Passionate about actor training, Danny specialises in Shakespeare, classical text analysis, voice, character development, and audition preparation, bringing a wealth of practical experience and professional insight to emerging performers.

We are absolutely thrilled to announce that the incredible Shubshri Kandiah will be joining us for our 3-Day Actor's Intensive School Holiday Program in both Brisbane and Toowoomba, where she will be leading an exclusive Musical Theatre Workshop for our young performers.

Known for her powerhouse performances, exceptional vocal talent, and inspiring journey through the Australian performing arts industry, Shubshri brings a wealth of professional experience to this unique training opportunity.

Shubshri Kandiah is a celebrated Australian musical theatre performer, best known for her groundbreaking portrayals of iconic Disney princesses. Raised in Perth, she began her artistic journey learning classical Indian dance (Bharatanatyam), ballet, and violin. She followed her passion for the stage, graduating from the Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University with a Bachelor of Musical Theatre in 2017.

Kandiah made her professional debut as Princess Jasmine in the national tour of Disney’s Aladdin. She further solidified her status as a leading lady by playing Ella in the Australian production of Rodgers + Hammerstein’s Cinderella, and most recently, she has enchanted over a million audience members across Australia as Belle in Disney’s Beauty and the Beast.

Prior to this, Shubshri was cast in the central role of Maryam in Why? The Musical for Expo 2020 in Dubai, created and directed by award-winning filmmaker Shekhar Kapur, with music composed by Academy Award-winning film composer A.R. Rahman.

Expanding her career into film, Kandiah stars as Margie in the 2025 Australian film The Travellers, directed by Bruce Beresford. Her diverse credits also include Brianna in the national tour of Fangirls (Belvoir), Ismene in Antigone (Queensland Theatre), Cinderella in Into the Woods (Belvoir) and Ayah in the Pearlfishers (Opera Queensland).

Check out one of our industry professionals, Peter Thurnwald - you may know him from Netflix' 'XO Kitty' and Stan's hit 'Bump'. These School Holidays he'll be running an acting workshop with a focus on Screen Acting Techniques and Industry Preparation during our School Holiday 3-Day Actor's Intensive both in Toowoomba (Mashed Theatre & Films) and Brisbane (Metro Arts).

'Peter Thurnwald is an Australian actor who’s most known for his leading roles in Netflix’s multi-week number one show, ‘XO Kitty’ and Stan’s international hit, ‘Bump’. His sharp rise to success is due to both his love of acting, and deep knowledge of the craft. It’s these techniques which have allowed him to become well known amongst Hollywood casting directors, and hopes to share this knowledge with others in his masterclass.'

Our touring team is officially on the road, delivering Shakespeare and Well-Being productions to schools across three states.

Some are born great, some achieve greatness, and some have greatness thrust upon them. Our actors just have a lot of kilometres thrust upon them.
