Our children loved learning about recycling, caring for the environment and how they can be everyday eco-warriors. There were lots of smiles, laughs and hands-on fun along the way!

Did you know?
A car being repaired in our car park turned into a week-long learning experience for our Kindy children.
What started as curiosity became questions. Questions became investigations. Investigations became a mechanic workshop filled with problem-solving, teamwork, creativity and learning through play.
Sometimes the biggest learning opportunities come from the simplest moments. 💛🚗🔧

Today we’re celebrating more than just a delicious sweet treat!
International Donut Day began in 1938 to honour the “Donut Lassies” of the Salvation Army, who provided donuts and comfort to soldiers during World War I. Since then, it has become a day to celebrate kindness, community and sharing a little joy with those around us.
To mark the occasion, our wonderful Centre Manager has prepared some special treats for our Freckles families to enjoy at home. Whether you’re taking home a donut or a slice of our homemade Pear & Raspberry Loaf, we hope it brings a smile to your day. 💜💙🩷💛💚
A huge thank you to our amazing educators for always going above and beyond to create meaningful moments and special memories for our children and families. And thank you to our Freckles families for being such an important part of our community.
Because sometimes the smallest treats can create the sweetest moments. 🍩✨

Yesterday Freckles dressed to impress for Game 1 of the State of Origin! From jerseys and team shirts to maroon outfits and big smiles, the children absolutely loved showing off their team spirit. We may have spotted a few cheeky Blues supporters sneaking around the centre too 👀💙
Queensland may not have taken the win for Game 1, but our Freckles children certainly won in the style department.
Thank you to all our families for joining in the fun. We loved seeing all the team spirit, excitement and smiles throughout the centre!
Now… bring on Game 2! 👏❤️

Today our Kindy children had the wonderful opportunity to participate in the Bravehearts Ditto Keep Safe Adventure Show.
The children learnt about:�🦁 Recognising safe and unsafe feelings�🦁 Speaking up and using their voice�🦁 Trusted adults and asking for help�🦁 Understanding that everyone has the right to feel safe.
It was fantastic to see the children so engaged, confident and involved throughout the experience. Programs like Ditto help empower children with important life skills in a gentle, supportive and child-friendly environment 🌈
A big thank you to the Bravehearts team for visiting us today and delivering such a meaningful program for our children 💛

At Freckles, we love providing fresh, nutritious, home-cooked meals that nourish growing minds and bodies every day 🥗✨

🪱♻️ Our Senior Kindy children had so much fun exploring worm farms for National Compost Week!
The children learnt all about what foods worms can and can’t eat, bravely handled some real worms, and even got creative making artwork with our pretend “spaghetti worms” 🎨🪱
Hands-on experiences like these help children build an understanding of sustainability, caring for our environment, and where our food waste goes 🌱💚

🧱 Block Play in our Kindergarten Program 🧱
Through block play, our Kindy children are developing important skills that support Prep readiness. As they build, plan, and work together, children strengthen their problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and early mathematical thinking.
