A BIG thing has happened!

Dr Chris Kossen has won THE PRIA Golden Target Award Educator of the Year!

The award is in recognition of his leadership and contributions to communication and public relations education with innovations in microlearning that increase student engagement in learning by increasing accessibility of learning materials and focus on practical value, including employability in curriculum.

His success in increasing student retention, learning achievement and satisfaction on adopting microlearning was recognised in 2020 as lead and joint winner of University of Southern Queensland's Excellence in Faculty Teaching (BELA), and the team-based grant (2021-2022) to implement and evaluate ‘career and employability’ content in Public Relations curriculum.
