"We had an incredible time today during our fire engine incursion/excursion! The firefighters showed us different safety measures and tips, which was informative and important for everyone to learn. The children got to visit the fire truck and see all the different tools and equipment they use to keep us safe. They even had the opportunity to hold the hose and experience what it's like to be a firefighter! The best part was when the fire truck sounded its siren and the children were extremely excited. Thank you so much to the firefighters for such a fun and memorable experience."

Introducing the children to the ancient art of dot painting. Miss JoJo explained to the children of our Toddlers room that Aboriginal art was sacred and very personal to each individual tribe and their lineage.
Seemingly inspired by the dot painting the children had seen this morning, the children began to dip their brushes and tap them repeatedly onto the paper creating an array of spots in various colours. It was wonderful to see how the children transferred and adapted what they had learned, from one context to another.
The Kindy children are combining their letter development with their āUnder The Seaā exploration by using sea shells to create the first letter of their name.
Anything can be a tool for creationš.
Today the Toddlers explored an outdoor sensory experience, which plays a very important role in the childrenās development process. It helps each child to enhance their fine motor skills and sensory capabilities through play.
