This term is all about inventing and making your own board game!!
I really enjoy seeing how students ideas evolve. I love to challenge them, let their creativity shine forth and guide them as they resolve any problems that arise. This small multi-aged art class runs from 4-5pm today. Spots available. P 0417783289 for more information.

Bird art inspiration!!

Congratulations Lawson!!! on winning the IEC /English Teachers Assn Qld yr5-6 poetry competition with your poem “Dragon”. You performed it brilliantly last night at the awards ceremony in front of your very proud family and drama teacher!!

Congratulations to all the many youngsters who performed in the Eisteddfod. There are so many life skills to be learned through this experience. Loving seeing these delightful kids develop their skills, grow in confidence, learn resilience, collaborate, take direction, discernment, stress and time management, appreciate the sacrifices their parents make (lessons, taxi driving, helping with practices and costumes), and humility to name a few. It’s certainly not all about winning!

Toowoomba Eisteddfod 2023 - solo section (July 29-31). I am so proud of ALL my drama students who have worked very hard writing/preparing, practicing and performing their various pieces. They have ALL improved leaps and bounds in skill and confidence. Congratulations!! A great job done by the parents too (keeping students on track and for the amazing costumes!!!)

A fun start to the term yesterday with the assembly and preliminary painting of our bird boxes.

I'm very excited about our term 3 art class theme - Bird life! Looking forward to assembling and painting these wonderful bird boxes (recycled boxes are thanks to the Ryan family). Please collect bird pictures to bring along to class for inspiration.
