To cover 60km it takes just 1.94km per day!

🚸 UPDATE - All LEAD Childcare Centres will be open tomorrow, Monday 10 March. We remind our families, employees and community to travel safely and to the conditions on the roads. Please check your local council websites for road closures and any potential flooding. We look forward to opening our doors tomorrow and welcoming our little learners back, we’ve missed you! 🧡

It is with much consideration we have decided our centre will be closed Friday 7 March. This closure is due to the safety concerns of our children, employees, and families.

⚠️ IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: Centre Closures due to Cyclone Alfred

Due to the severe weather events currently unfolding we have made the decision to close the following centres with the safety of our children, families and employees in mind. The following centres will be closed on Thursday, the 6th of March and Friday, the 7th of March:

- Burpengary
- Caboolture
- Dayboro
- Goodna
- Mango Hill
- Mango Hill Village
- Murrumba Village
- Riverview
- Rothwell
- Southport
- Tingalpa
- Walloon
- Wooloowin

The following centres remain open at this time, we urge families in these regions to remain safe and vigilant.

- Toowoomba
- Goondiwindi
- Sunrise Mackay

The Federal Government have announced a Child Care Subsidy (CCS) period of emergency in those impacted areas due to Cyclone Alfred. This CCS period of emergency applies from 5 March 2025, to 13 March. As Cyclone Alfred approaches we want to reiterate the importance of remaining safe in extreme weather.

We ask that our families, employees, and communities stay safe during this time.
Please take all necessary precautions, keep up to date with the latest announcements, and look out for one another.
