Over the past two weeks, our Pre-Kindy children have been learning about Aboriginal symbols and drawings. They explored the meanings behind different symbols and then created their own unique versions through art.
The children also used paint and symbol stamps to create patterns and designs, helping them further explore Aboriginal storytelling through creative expression.
This experience supported creativity, fine motor development, and an appreciation of Aboriginal culture. We are so proud of their wonderful work! ❤️🖤💛

Today our Junior kindy children at Oak on Rangeville explored something new, setting up their own beds outside for the first time and taking care in putting on their sheets and choosing where to rest.☀️✨
Sleeping outside offers lovely benefits for young children.. fresh air can support more restful sleep, while the natural environment helps them feel calm and connected. It also builds independence and confidence as they take ownership of their own space and routine.😴

Today at Oak Rangeville, we welcomed a special community visit from the Tooth Fairy! 🦷✨ 🧚 The children learned how and when to brush their teeth through engaging games and stories, with some even having a turn to practise. Each child also received a free toothbrush to take home, supporting healthy habits beyond the centre. A meaningful and fun experience for all!
