SOUNDS OF SCOTLAND 2026 – GENERATIONS

Brisbane Boys’ College Pipe Band proudly presents its annual Sounds of Scotland concert, returning to College Hall on Friday 13 November 2026.

This year’s concert is titled “Generations” – a celebration of the music, tradition, friendships and people who have shaped the BBC Pipe Band across the years.

Featuring our current BBC Pipe Bands, alongside Old Collegians returning to perform throughout the concert, and spectacular Highland Dancers, Generations will bring together past and present for a fantastic night of entertainment.

From our youngest developing players through to current senior musicians, and Old Boys once again taking the stage, the concert will showcase the strength of the Pipe Band tradition at BBC and the connection that continues long after students leave the College.

The evening will also be a special opportunity to recognise and farewell our Grade 12 Pipe Band members, celebrating their contribution to the program before they finish their time at BBC.

Time: 6:30pm – 8:30pm (including a 30-minute interval)
Venue: College Hall, Brisbane Boys’ College

Come along for an unforgettable evening of pipes, drums, Highland dancing and entertainment, as generations of the BBC Pipe Band come together on one stage.

Make a night of it!

The bar will open from 4:30pm, with food and drinks available before the concert. The bar will also open during the interval and for a short time following the performance, with everyone encouraged to stay, catch up and enjoy the atmosphere.

Whether you're a current BBC family, an Old Collegian, a supporter of the Pipe Band or simply looking for a great night of Scottish music and entertainment, Sounds of Scotland: Generations is a night not to miss.

2026 Victorian Solo Piping Championships

Huge congratulations to Austin, who travelled to Melbourne to compete in the Victorian Solo Piping Championship. Austin won the overall C Grade, which is absolutely fantastic.

What a fantastic day on Saturday at Brisbane Boys’ College.
