From Rudd House Captain at BBC to a Wallaby!

What a journey for Toby Macpherson (OC 2022)! The former Brisbane Boys’ College boarder and Rudd House Captain has officially earned his first-ever Wallabies call-up for the upcoming Bledisloe Cup Series!

From leading the boarding community in school to captaining the Brumbies and now getting the nod from Les Kiss for the Wallabies squad, we couldn’t be prouder of his rise!

Toby joins fellow Old Collegians Isaac Henry (OC 2016), Len Ikitau (OC 2016), Lachie Shaw (OC 2020) and Harry McLaughlin-Phillips (OC 2021) in the Wallabies squad.

Big shoutout to Harry, Cooper, Kane and Old Collegian Tai Taka (OC 2025) for representing their nations in New Zealand recently when the Australia U18s faced the NZ Barbarians U18s!

Harry and Cooper were selected for the Australia U18s squad, running out alongside Old Boy Tai Taka (OC 2025), while Kane earned selection for the NZ Barbarians U18s team! Australia emerged victorious 54-31 in an entertaining match showcasing the next generation of Rugby talent in Australasia.

It’s great to see our BBC boys taking their skills beyond the College gates and making their mark on the international stage. We are extremely proud of your achievements! 👏👏👏

Founded in 1990, the BBC Old Collegians' Pipe Band has grown into ab major stalwart of the Queensland pipe band scene, representing our College's rich musical heritage across the region.

Even more importantly, the Old Collegians' band provides a dedicated pathway for our school pipers and drummers to continue their love for the art of pipe band long after their school days are over.

Check out these fantastic photos of the Old Collegians performing live on campus at our recent Old Boys’ Day.
