GRANDPARENTS MORNING
This morning, we warmly welcomed the grandparents and special friends of our Year 7 cohort for Grandparents Morning. The celebration began with Mass in the Chapel, followed by student-led tours of the campus, before concluding with a shared morning tea.
It was a joy to see the smiles on our students’ faces as they proudly showcased their learning and the surrounds of our school.
Thank you to all our grandparents and special friends who joined us for this special occasion.

FEAST OF THE SACRED HEART
As a school of the Sacred Heart, guided by the principles of the Catholic faith, we pause to honour the Feast of the Sacred Heart, a celebration of love, compassion and the deep connection to Jesus.
Today, we are reminded that we are part of something far greater than ourselves. Across continents and cultures, Sacred Heart schools are united by a shared mission - to form hearts and minds that seek justice, nurture faith, and lead with courage and kindness.

ALL IN TO RECONCILIATION
Throughout Reconciliation Week, our community has taken time to listen, learn and walk forward together, embracing this year’s theme, ‘All In’. Grounded in our commitment to cultural awareness, we continue to recognise the deep significance of culture and truth-telling.
During the week, our First Nations students visited All Hallows’ to take part in their Living Library event - an initiative that shares the stories, cultures and perspectives of First Nations peoples through storytelling.
Importantly, we came together as a community as our First Nations and Torres Strait Islander young women led us in prayer and reflection. We were then honoured to welcome guest speaker Jungaji, who, through his words and music, shared his story and created a meaningful moment of connection and unity for all.
Together, these experiences have strengthened our shared commitment to reconciliation.

STORIES WITH SISTER RITA
During National Boarding Week, our Year 7 boarders had a special opportunity to hear stories and insights into boarding life from Sister Rita Carroll rscJ.
Captivated by the rich history of our Boarding House and the wisdom of one of our own Sacred Heart Sisters, students were privileged to hear firsthand memories of boarding and school life from Sister Rita herself.
With a Boarding House spanning more than 105 years, moments like these connect our students to the traditions, values and experiences that continue to shape life at Stuartholme today.

INTERHOUSE ATHLETICS
Cheers echoed across the University of Queensland as our students gave their all at this year’s Interhouse Athletics Carnival. Whether running, jumping, or throwing, every competitor showcased outstanding school spirit in each event.
It wouldn’t be an interhouse competition without some spirited rivalry between the houses.
Congratulations to Macrae for bringing the most spirit, and to Woodlock for taking out the overall house championship.
