CELEBRATING OUR ALUMNAE SISTERHOOD

From reunion celebrations reconnecting with the Classes of 1966, 1976, 1986, 1996, 2006, 2016 and 2021 to Sunday’s Alumnae Community Mass and Morning Tea. It was a meaningful opportunity to gather as a community, celebrating lifelong friendships and shared memories while honouring our Foundress, Saint Madeleine Sophie Barat.

We also celebrated two longstanding members of the Alumnae Association who have been valued leaders within our community: Patrice Bilbe (Class of 2006), who served as President, and Angelique Tracey (Class of 1988), who served as Vice President. On behalf of the alumnae community, thank you for your dedicated service and leadership.

Thank you to all who joined us — your presence made the weekend truly memorable. Reunion Weekend is always a reminder that while school days may pass, the bonds of sisterhood remain strong.

✨ Alum Spotlight ✨

Meet Dr Pip Coore - Class of 2006, Woodlock House

Pip describes Stuartholme as a place built on friendship, connection and community, something that has remained an important part of her life long after graduation.

From her very first days at Stu, Pip immersed herself in school life, building friendships that have now lasted more than 20 years. She says one of the things that made Stuartholme so special was the strong connection between boarders and day girls, creating friendships and experiences that shaped who she is today.

Some of Pip’s fondest memories include weekends spent in Goondiwindi with school friends, countless hours playing tennis for Stuartholme, team trips, early morning trainings and, of course, the famous stair runs if you were late.

After graduating, Pip completed studies at UQ and QUT before moving to England to study at the University of Oxford, where she completed both a Master of Laws and a DPhil (PhD) in Law. She now works as a Barrister in Brisbane specialising in succession law, equity and trusts.

One of the most meaningful moments in Pip’s journey was graduating from Oxford alongside her Mum, Penny, a moment she says would never have been possible without her unwavering support.

Outside of work, life is beautifully full. Pip lives in Brisbane with her husband Alex, their daughter Primrose & a second baby due any minute.

Despite all of her incredible achievements, Pip says it is the lifelong friendships from Stuartholme that remain closest to her heart.

“These are the girls who have known me since Year 8 and have grown up with me in every sense of the word. That is something I treasure deeply.”

And her go-to tuckshop order?
A hot lasagne from Mrs Toscano’s tuckshop on a cold day!

Thank you, Pip, for sharing your story with us and for being part of such a beautiful Reunion Weekend celebration.
