Our final Oak Parlour Recital of the year provided a wonderful opportunity during Term 3 to celebrate our Year 12 musicians as they performed for the final time before their exam period.

The varied program featured a captivating vocal duet of You Love Who You Love from Bonnie and Clyde, the expressive second movement (Adagio) from Mozart’s Clarinet Concerto K. 622, and Manuel de Falla’s moving Nana for voice.

The evening was beautifully hosted by Music Captain, Madeleine, and Leader of Stage Band, Alice. We congratulate all our talented Recital performers, with special recognition for our Year 12 students, and extend our sincere thanks to them and their families for their dedicated contribution to the musical life of Loreto Toorak. ✨

Imagine standing on the shores of Minjerribah alongside university researchers. Soon, our Years 10 and 11 students will trade the traditional classroom for hands-on scientific discovery.

In partnership with The University of Queensland, our new pilot Marine Biology Immersion Program offers students the opportunity to explore marine ecosystems and experience tertiary-level science firsthand. From analysing plankton to learning about First Nations connections to land and sea, these young scholars will receive invaluable insights into future STEAM pathways 💙

Year 8 student Hannah has been named a winner in the 2026 crcCARE High School Essay Competition! Her insightful essay focused on how artificial intelligence can help prevent environmental contamination, earning her national honours at the International Clean Up Conference.

Hannah shared that her inspiration came from a simple wish to make a positive difference, emphasising that our collective focus should be on preventing damage before it occurs.
