The Royal Children’s Hospital is seeking expressions of interest from young people aged 14 – 25 who have an interest in content creation that helps promote health messaging to other young people.
If you’re keen to learn more about how you can create short form social media content that spreads health information that young people can trust, (or if you know a young person who would be interested, let them know)! All contributors will receive remuneration and recognition for their work as well as training and upskilling from staff at the Royal Children’s Hospital.
You can get involved in this project in ways that suit your schedule including:
• Creating short videos, animations or static posts related to health topics from wherever you are based (yep, you can submit remotely)
• Joining monthly on-site content creation sessions at the Royal Children’s Hospital in Parkville – our next session is on April 16th
We’re particularly keen to hear from young people who:
• Want to grow and refine skills in content creation with feedback and guidance
• Have an interest in health promotion and debunking mis- and disinformation
• Have some lived experience with the health care system or are passionate about educating others about how to access health care
If this sounds like you, or someone you know, you can register your interest by completing the form below. After completing the form, you will be sent regular emails about upcoming content creation sessions and information on the health topics we’re planning to create content about.
