Lessons in violin, viola, piano, guitar, ukulele, vocals & drums. We believe music lessons should be enjoyed, not endured.

We ensure our students have fun, while learning.

Our end of year concert this year was again held at the Q Theatre in the Joan Sutherland Performing Arts in Penrith on Saturday 8th November 2025

Here are some pictures from the 1st session.

It was a massive success! 56 kids performed in the first session.

It was incredibly satisfying to see our students perform with such confidence and enthusiasm in front of their family and friends. Even students who’d just started were super confident!

Every student got a certificate with their teacher’s feedback on how they did all year. We also gave awards to some students for doing an amazing job all year!

We would like to thank all our students, their families, and other well-wishers for supporting us not only during the concert but throughout the year as well. We missed those students who couldn’t be here, and hope to see them next year!

Huge thanks to the teachers who came: Grace Z, Kaitlin, Grace A, Steffina, Chris, and Binsagar! We’re so grateful for your help on that day. Teachers who weren’t here, we’re hoping you can come next time!

A huge thank you to the teachers for all your hard work with the students this year!

Big thanks to Darren, the day wouldn’t have been so easy without him!

Here are some pictures from the second session of our 2024 end-of-year concert, which took place at the Q Theatre in the Joan Sutherland Performing Arts center in Penrith on Sunday, December 8th.

It was a tremendous success, with over 50 children performing in each session. It was incredibly satisfying to see our students perform with such confidence and enthusiasm in front of their family and friends. Even students who had only been learning for a few weeks performed with amazing confidence!

Each student received a certificate that included their teacher’s comments on their progress throughout the year. We also recognized some students for their exceptional progress, consistent effort, and enthusiasm throughout the year!

We would like to thank all our students, their families, and other well-wishers for supporting us not only during the concert but throughout the year as well. To the students who could not join us this year, we missed you and hope to see you perform next year!

A special thank you goes out to our attending teachers: Eric, Grace, Kaitlin, and Steffina. We truly appreciate your help on that day. To our teachers who couldn’t be there today - Abhishek, Benjamin, Rachel, and Kelly - we missed you and hope you can join us next year! Thank you to all our teachers for the tremendous work you have done with all our students this year.

This is 9 year old Anicha, whose dedication to learning the violin is truly remarkable.

Despite her young age, she has shown an incredible commitment to practicing and honing her skills. Her ability to memorize and play all her grade four pieces from memory is a testament to her exceptional talent and hard work.

As her teacher, it is a delight to witness her progress week after week. Anicha’s passion for the violin is evident in her eagerness to learn and her ability to absorb new techniques and concepts. With her incredible work ethic and passion for the violin, I have no doubt that Anicha will continue to achieve great things in the coming years.

I am excited to see her progress and can’t wait to witness her musical journey unfold.

Here she is playing one of her AMEB grade four piece, Hungarian Dance No 5 by Johannes Brahms

This is Paarth, who was our third student this year to take an AMEB Exam in March this year!

Paarth achieved an A+ (high distinction) in his grade one piano exam after only 6 months of lessons.

The piece he is playing in this video, is from his extra list. It is called Petite piece by Aleksandr Goedicke, and was actually a grade two piece.

Paarth’s remarkable dedication and eagerness to be the best he can be, makes him an exceptional student! The way he approaches his practice routine is both admirable and shows maturity.

The examiner's remarks for this piece was "Revealing your attention to the details in the score at all times, your performance was varied and articulate, as noted. Dynamic
changes were audible and the atmosphere was suitably joyous. Bravo!"

The examiner's general remarks at the end of the report stated "All pieces showed excellent attention to details of articulation and dynamics, and your technique is developing well. Musicality
was expressed, in your skilful ex*****on of ritardando and diminuendo in particular. Congratulations today and all the best for
your bright future!"

Well done Paarth!

This is Arish, who was our second student to sit an AMEB exam this year in February. He attempted his preliminary grade exam and he also passed with an A+ (High Distinction)

Here is is playing of his pieces, Little Flower Girl of Paris, by William Gillock.

The examiner's comments for this was "The elegant dance style was appreciated here and the long legato phrase lines had musical shape. Balance of hands good with
good control of the role reversal of the melody. Good technical control"

The examiner's general remarks at the end of the report was "A conscientiously prepared performance today Arish with all Lists having good technical control. Attention to the musical details
such as phrasing, expression and balance were pleasing.
Memory work is an asset - well done."

This is Joel, who was our first student to sit an AMEB exam this year in February. He attempted his preliminary grade exam and passed with an A+ (High Distinction)

Here is is playing of his pieces, Tempo di Minuetto by James Hook.

The examiner's comments for this was "Here there was a good musical efort to capture the more graceful style of a minuet. The performance was even and clear, and
phrases were sensitively shaped. Hands were well co-ordinated."

The examiner's general remarks at the end of the report was "The programme has been confidently prepared, with close attention to musical detail and a good concept of the different musical
character of each piece. There was a good involvement with expressing musical meanings, and a good technical control is
developing. It would be good if you could now try to be a little more relaxed when you perform - more performing experience
may help with this. An excellent preliminary standard has been achieved so far. Well done, Joel.

Some pics from the second session of our end of year concert on the 16th of December last year at the Q Theatre in the Joan Sutherland Performing Arts, Penrith! A bit late, but guess better than never

It was pretty amazing to see so much talent in our students who preformed admirably and without much nerves!

To all our students who could not attend last year, we hope that you will be able to join us this year!

We thank all the parents of our students, some of who have been on this journey with us for many years, and all our well wishers! The support all throughout the year, and the week leading up to the concert, and obviously during the concert itself! We couldn't do it without you.

Credit to all our teachers who work so hard during the year to teach, mentor and guide our students in such an amazing way!

Shout out to my brother from another mother Mr Pankaj Upadhayay who through Euphony Films did the videography and Alison from Moment Through Photography www.momentsthrough.com.au

Until next time, God bless
Gerard, Melody and the entire team thank you for your support!

This is 11 year old Misha.

If I can bottle up her enthusiasm, commitment and dedication towards music and practice, I think I will make a fortune selling it to many! Ha ha ha! Funny but genuinely true!

I start a very long day of teaching on a Saturday at 7:30am, with Misha being my first student!

Have a read of the notes she makes in her note book so that I don’t have to ask her what she achieved during the week! Note the time she was practicing on a Saturday morning, 5.37am, when most kids want to sleep in!

She has only been learning the piano for two years, but is already doing AMEB grade 3 and some of grade 4 pieces.

This is a piece called Fable, which is in the tricky time signature of 5/8

It’s such a joy and a blessing to be able to input into little lives like this! She truly is such a joy to teach and mentor!
