A Small Business Update from Riverside Driving School 💙🩷
After 10 wonderful years of helping learners become safe and confident drivers, I’d like to share a couple of important updates to my business.
Effective 1st July 2026:
• 1-hour driving lessons will be $80, firm.
• Driving Lesson + Drive Test package will be $180
📣 EFTPOS now available, however surcharge fee included.
Alongside this, I will also be introducing a 12-hour cancellation policy. Lessons cancelled with less than 12 hours’ notice will incur 100% of the lesson fee.
For the past 10 years, I have operated without a cancellation policy. As many of you know, I always try to be understanding because I know life happens—people get sick, family emergencies arise, and unexpected situations can occur.
However, as my business has grown and my family relies on my income, I’ve realised it’s the right time to put a policy in place that supports not only my students, but also myself and my family.
When a lesson is cancelled at short notice, it’s almost impossible to refill that time, resulting in lost income for my small business.
I genuinely value every student who chooses Riverside Driving School, and I remain committed to providing the same calm, patient and supportive lessons you’ve always known.
These changes simply help ensure I can continue doing what I love for many years to come.
