What an exciting day at Country Kids!
Our Kindy children had their very first tennis lesson today, and what a fantastic start it was!
The children had so much fun learning the basic skills of tennis through engaging games and activities. They practised balancing, hand-eye coordination, listening skills, and teamwork, all while building confidence and staying active.
There were plenty of smiles and laughter. π
We can't wait to see their skills grow over the coming weeks.
A huge thank you to Ian, the wonderful tennis coach, for providing such a fun and positive experience. πΎπ

π¨π A Special Visit from Care 4 Esk! ππ¨
After our very own exciting koala visit at Country Kids last week, the children were thrilled to welcome Care 4 Esk to our service to learn more about these incredible animals.
The children loved listening to fascinating facts, looking at photos, and watching amazing videos of local koalas. It was a wonderful opportunity to extend their curiosity and deepen their understanding of the wildlife living right here in our local community.
As part of Keep Australia Beautiful Week, we also explored the importance of caring for our animals and protecting the environment they call home. Through meaningful conversations, the children learned how small actions can make a big difference in keeping our environment clean, safe, and healthy for our precious wildlife.
A huge thank you to Care4esk for sharing their knowledge and inspiring our little ones to help care for our beautiful Australian wildlife. πΏπ¨π

A very special visitor stopped by Country Kids today! π¨πΏ
Our little learners were so excited to spot a beautiful koala relaxing in one of the trees just outside of our back gate at the centre.
It was a wonderful opportunity to observe Australian wildlife from a safe distance and talk about the importance of caring for our animals.
The children loved watching our furry friend and its baby snooze high in the branches what a magical moment and a memory they'll be talking about for a long time! π
We feel so lucky to share our beautiful surroundings with Australia's incredible wildlife. π¨π
