Kids need our time.

With so many things vying for our attention it can be hard to figure out how to spend time with our kids.

This is what it looks like for me right now.

Yes, this is a puzzle. Yes, this is my kitchen table. Why, yes! This means I haven't been able to use my table for a week.

And you know what? I don't care.

We eat in the living room together when we can. My kids are working jobs, driving their own car or being driven here and there.

So, I'll trade a clean table for a chance to catch up at the end of a crazy day over snacks and a puzzle.
