We are excited to join the fun activities at Tongala primary school on our weekly excursions for kinder children.
These programs provide children with the opportunity to have a fun, social and engaging time at local school, as they continue to learn.

The Early Years Learning Framework recommends excursions and incursions for children aged 1-5 years old to assist with the desired outcomes needed for a child to move into primary school.
The overall outcomes are:

-A child should have a strong sense of identity.
-A child should be connected and contributing to the world.
-A child should have a strong sense of wellbeing.
-Children should be confident and involved learners.
Be able to communicate effectively.

Our young children will be participating in our monthly excursion 😊to various fun activities.

We had a busy day yesterday with a visit from our dentist team .Their talks and interactive presentations are designed to educate the children in proper dental health and ensure the children have fun learning about healthy oral habits. We will be implementing the fundamentals of good oral hygiene and healthy eating in our daily curriculum.

At country Kidz,we believe in giving back to the community because our aim as educational professionals is to teach children healthy habits early on. With early education and awareness, children are equipped for a great start for a lifetime of good oral health.

Today we had Kristy and Ernie visit from responsible pet ownership program.
Kristy educated our kinder children on the safe practices on approaching dogs.
Kirsty also demonstrated to the children the mannerisms in dogs and what we should do if chased by a dog.
Outcome 2: Children are connected with and contribute to their world.

A reminder that our centre will be closed Thursday 26th January 2023 for the Australia Day Public Holiday.
