💚 Jump Rope for Heart — What an Amazing Achievement!

We are incredibly proud to announce that our school raised an amazing $2,911 — nearly triple our original goal of $1,000! 🎉
A huge congratulations to every student, staff member and community member who got involved, skipped, jumped, fundraised and encouraged others along the way. Your enthusiasm and determination have made this a truly special fundraiser.

A special congratulations to Luna, who raised the most funds overall — an incredible $256.68! 🌟

Let’s remember our Jump Rope for Heart motto: “Be strong, be smart, jump your way to a healthy heart!” ❤️

Well done, everyone — $2,911 is an incredible achievement, and we couldn’t have done it without our incredible community!

🌟 Kindness is worth talking about 🌟

Our Year 6 leaders have taken to the school PA system to give Kindness Shout-Outs, recognising the people who are making a positive difference around Tomerong Public School.

It’s a simple idea with a powerful message: when we notice and acknowledge kindness, respect and positive actions, we help build the kind of school community we all want to be part of.

Our student leaders are showing what it means to be respectful, responsible and positive learners.

Something exciting is happening at TPS next Thursday! 🎙️ PowerFM's breakfast show is coming to our school on September 17th, and we'd love to have you join us for the fun! 🎉 This is a fantastic opportunity to see what goes into a live radio broadcast and be part of something special.

Mark your calendars and get ready for an amazing morning! ✨

Please note, families are welcome onsite from 7:30am, however, parents are required to stay with their children until active staff supervision commences from 8:45am.

What a wonderful celebration of books, reading and imagination! 📖💫

Our students looked absolutely amazing as they brought their favourite book characters to life for our Book Week Parade. From superheroes to storybook favourites, there were smiles, creativity and plenty of WOW moments! 🦸‍♀️🧙‍♂️🐻

A huge thank you to our families for helping create such wonderful costumes and supporting our love of reading. ❤️📚

Huge shoutout to a Year 6 student, Ruby, who made beautiful bracelets for each of our Kindergarten students as a special reminder to spread kindness every day. 💖

Our Kindergarten class had a wonderful discussion about all the ways we can show kindness in our school and community – because even the smallest act of kindness can make a BIG difference! 🤗✨

Kindergarten had a wonderful On Country visit to Bristol Point with Jervis Bay Primary School and Uncle Matty Simms. We spotted wallabies, kangaroos, many beautiful birds, and learnt about native plants including sarsaparilla and bracken fern. We even tasted some very sour native currants — the faces were priceless! 🍃🦘🐦

We're incredibly grateful to Jervis Bay Primary School for this learning opportunity and the connections we've built along the way.
