Headline: “Congress still can’t figure out the internet!”

Not to worry, this generation of kids born into the WWW era have quite an advantage! We cannot blame ourselves or those older than us, because we have limited technological capabilities 🙂

My brain is already developed (pretty much), while my little brothers learn, practice and create with 21st Century tech! How lucky: but also how unlucky...

Our children and their children will face unprecedented challenges and ethical dilemmas, thanks to technology & automation. It’s our job to seek understanding and be aware of the impact these things can have on our kids’ lives, as well as that of future generations! This is how we can keep up with social issues and be lifelong learners!

My name is Tasmyn.
I’m a 3rd year Primary Ed student at Townsville’s JCU with a passion for education!

I have decided to offer my expertise of child development and learning theories to (1) aid my professional development and (2) make a real difference for students who struggle in normal school settings.

My practical EXPERIENCE with children/students/parents ranges from professional placements and work experience, to living with 2 of my brothers whom are 10 years younger than myself.

I BELIEVE that each individual has potential, and part of an educator’s job should be to recognise that potential and differentiate content to suit student needs.

I OFFER tutoring that aligns with the Australian Curriculum from Kindergarten to Year 10. Upon completion of my degree, I will be qualified to effectively teach up to year 10: however, I have much experience with creating learning experiences for younger children (babysitting). I have also tutored for high school and my peers.

Since it’s summer, affordable EXCURSIONS/half day sessions may be arranged (sooner or later) to suit families with day care needs... and to offer a good time that is also educational!

REFERENCES are on their way! I will request testimonials from my mentors, family friends, and past students/parents (clients); these will be available on my page in time.

PRICING: I aim to be one of, if not, THE cheapest tutoring services in our region. As low as $50 for 2 sessions. I aim to be completely inclusive, both socially and with varying abilities.
