✨️📚 Book Week dress up day is in full swing here at Tolga today. There are so many fantastic costumes to celebrate our love of books and reading! Be sure to check back as more photos are added throughout the day 📸

Staff have turned up to school today to discover they are re-surfacing the road outside the school 🤷🏼‍♀️
This will mean there may be some interruptions to morning drops offs.
Won’t ruin our book week celebrations though- stay tuned for loads of photos

🐸 Today's Reading Lounge was brought to us by Ms Duffy reading the hilarious book "The Wide Mouth Frog," by Keith Faulkner. Students had a wonderful time making frog puppets and a huge thank you to our Year 5/6 helpers for all their assistance at lunch today.

📃🪨✂️ Aug 27th is World Paper Scissors Rock Day! To celebrate, our Student Councillors ran a huge game of "Paper, Scissors, Run" on the oval yesterday. So many students participated, and it was great to hear the cheering and encouragement coming from team members. Great idea, Student Councillors!

A reminder that Book Week dress up is this Friday. To reduce disruptions to prime learning time, there will be no whole school parade. However, individual classes may still opt to have a small parade in their room at a time that suits. (Individual teachers will communicate this).
All students will be doing an office tour, as this space has been transformed and they will all be receiving a treat.
Keep an eye out for Class photos of Book week which we look forward to sharing
