Wishing a very Happy Father’s Day to all the incredible dads, grandfathers, stepdads, uncles and father figures in our community this Sunday!

On Friday morning, we were delighted to host a beautiful breakfast to celebrate the special men in our lives. Thank you for the endless support, wisdom, strength and quiet sacrifices you make every day. Whether you're teaching life lessons, bringing the dad jokes or simply being a steady hand to rely on, your impact is invaluable.

Today, we also hold a special place in our hearts for the fathers and father figures who are no longer with us. We remember them with deep affection and gratitude for the lasting legacy they have left behind.

Our New Little Hearts Playgroup Lead.
Congratulations Mrs Bek Goburdhun! 🎉😊

We are thrilled to announce that Mrs Bek Goburdhun will be facilitating our Little Hearts Playgroup, running every Wednesday morning during the school term.

Parents and carers and their children are warmly invited to join us for a fantastic morning of fun and connection, with tea and coffee for the adults and fresh fruit for the children.

When: Wednesdays (starting Wednesday 2nd September), 9:30am – 11:00am

Where: Sacred Heart School Hall (62 Charlotte Street, Tocumwal)

Cost: Free of charge

🌟 A huge thank you to everyone who supported the Sacred Heart Primary School Tocumwal Firewood Raffle! 🔥 🪵

Thanks to your generosity, we raised an incredible $2,400 for our school. Congratulations to our lucky winner, Bec Judge!

A special thank you to the Braybon family for all their hard work cutting, splitting and loading the firewood, to AgTrade Machinery for generously donating the wood and Adam Kent for providing the use of his trailer. Your support and community spirit made this fundraiser such a success.

⚓ Excursion to The Port of Echuca! ⚓

Our Sacred Heart Primary School students enjoyed a fantastic day exploring The Port of Echuca, where history came to life along the banks of the Murray River. Students had the opportunity to discover what life was like during the bustling paddle steamer era. We experienced a lesson in a traditional olden-days classroom, learnt about the region’s rich riverboat heritage, and even climbed aboard the PS Pevensey for a cruise along the mighty Murray.

A big thank you to our staff, in particular Miss Allen for organising such a great day out, for making this memorable educational experience possible. As the photos showcase, it was a day full of learning, fun, laughter and lasting memories!

Kindergarten Transition First Aid!

Our Kindergarten Transition students had a wonderful time participating in a fun day learning all about first aid!

Through a range of engaging, play-based activities, the children explored how to help others in an emergency. They learned about who to ask for help, how to care for someone who is hurt, and the importance of being kind, calm and caring. It was a fantastic opportunity for our future Kinders to build confidence, develop important life skills and learn through hands-on play.

We are so proud of their enthusiasm and willingness to help others!

100 Day of School!

Today we celebrated 100 Days Brighter as we marked 100 days of learning, growing and making wonderful memories together!

Our students dressed in bright colours, shared their collections of 100 items and enjoyed a range of fun activities celebrating everything we’ve achieved in our first 100 days of school. We are so proud of how much each child has grown in confidence, friendship and learning.
