Next Wednesday 2 September we acknowledge the Indigenous Literacy Foundation.
Students are encouraged to bring any coin value denomination which they can donate and receive a story book.

This is a wonderful opportunity for our students to celebrate the importance of First Nations storytelling, culture and language, while helping to support literacy in Indigenous communities. 📚💛

This morning, we shared the booking code for our Semester 2 Parent-Teacher Meetings via QParents. We will also share further information and step-by-step booking instructions in our Week 7 newsletter, which will be sent to families in the coming days.

We encourage all families to book a time to meet with their child’s classroom teacher. These conversations are an important part of the partnership between home and school and provide a valuable opportunity to discuss your child’s learning, progress and wellbeing, as well as how we can continue to work together to support their success.

Our Parent-Teacher Meetings will be held on Wednesday 9 September between 3pm - 7pm.

This afternoon, we conducted a Practise Lockdown Drill during our lunchtime break, to ensure our students and staff are familiar with our emergency procedures.

We are very proud of how calmly and responsibly everyone participated. All staff and students did a wonderful job! 👏
