This week Senior Constable Catherine visited Tinana Kindy to talk about how to identify police officers and all the different roles that police play in the community.
Spending time with a police officer helps keep children safe as they gain confidence to hopefully ask police for help in an emergency. The children loved exploring the police car and trying on police vests/hats.
I'd say there's some future recruit police officers at Tinana Kindy!

Last week we enjoyed some Riverside Adventures!
The Kindy children excitedly rode the bus, visited the library for storytime, explored the new Prep playground, met 'Spiny' the leaf insect and cuddled some chickens and chicks. Thank you to Riverside Christian College for inviting us to connect with teachers and learning spaces as children get ready for prep!

Thanks to Mrs Hedberg for our eggs, we can't wait to see them hatch….
