A friendly reminder to our Tiaro State School families that Friday 4 September 2026 is a Student Free Day.

There will be no classes for students on this day as staff participate in professional learning and school planning to support the best possible outcomes for our students.

We look forward to welcoming everyone back on Monday 7 September.

The annual School Opinion is due to close today, 21st August.

There is an extension available for the parent survey through to the 28th of August to allow additional responses to come in.

The SOS team will be sending a final reminder email to parents from Monday morning – 24th August.

A huge thank you to the 32% of families who have already completed the School Opinion Survey. Your feedback is greatly appreciated and helps shape the future direction of our school.

If you haven't had the chance yet, there is still time! The School Opinion Survey provides schools with a broad opinion from their school community across a range of areas. It assists in identifying strengths and areas for improvement, helping us continue to provide the best possible outcomes for our students.

Every response matters and gives us valuable insights into what we're doing well and where we can grow.

A big thank you to our local businesses for helping the students of Tiaro State School to raise funds for Flanno for a Farmer. The total donations came to $155. These funds will be sent off to Drought Angel's.
Also a shout out to Tiaro Meats and Bacon for the kind donation of sausages that we all enjoyed after our walk around Tiaro township.
