Movement builds more than muscles. 🏃‍♂️⚽🏊 When kids run, kick, swim, and play, they’re developing motor skills, coordination, confidence, and resilience.

They’re learning teamwork, managing emotions, and discovering what their bodies can do. At Little Zak’s Academy, physical activity isn’t just downtime. It’s foundational learning. 🩵

Teaching children to be safe is teaching them to be confident. At Little Zak’s Academy, safety is woven through everything we do.

Recently at Little Zak’s Brookvale, In2Swim brought their expertise to our centre, equipping our early learners with water safety skills for life. From the pool to the beach to emergency response, our early learners are equipped with skills they’ll carry for life.

One of the most powerful things we can teach children: your body belongs to you, and your voice matters.

This National Child Protection Week, we’re creating safe spaces where children learn to trust themselves and speak up. 💛

We understand that leaving your child in someone else’s care comes with an enormous amount of trust.

That’s something we never take for granted.

Child safety is our highest priority, which is why we take great care in who we welcome into our Little Zak’s family.

Our rigorous recruitment process helps ensure every person who joins our team is someone we can trust to care for, protect and nurture the children in our centres.

What an amazing day our children had exploring **Oakvale Farm!** 🌾💚

The children had so much fun getting up close with the animals, learning about farm life and discovering all the wonderful things Oakvale has to offer. 🐮🐷🐐

There were plenty of smiles, giggles and exciting moments as the children interacted with the animals and enjoyed spending time outdoors with their friends. 🥰

It was a wonderful opportunity for the children to connect with nature, develop their confidence and create some special memories together. 🌿✨

🎶🐟 Music & Movement in the Explorers Room! 🐟🎶
The Explorers had so much fun taking part in a music and movement learning experience with Miss Courtney!
The children joined in with the Barramundi Action Fish song, following along with the actions, clapping their hands and moving their bodies to the music. 👏🏼🐟🎵
There were lots of smiles, giggles and happy faces throughout the experience! 😄💛

🔢✨ Number Recognition in the Pioneers Room! ✨🔢
Our Pioneers children have been busy developing their early numeracy skills through a fun number recognition experience! 🌟
The children had the opportunity to practise saying each number aloud while tracing the numbers, helping them to build their confidence in both recognising and identifying numbers. 🖍️🔢
This hands-on experience supported the children’s number recognition, fine motor skills and early mathematical development while making learning fun and engaging! 💛
Well done, Pioneers! 👏🏼🌈

🐝🐞 Sensory Bug Hunt in the Adventures Room! 🌾✨
Our Adventures children had so much fun exploring a hands-on sensory experience! The children enjoyed scooping, pouring and feeling the different textures of the rice while using their senses to investigate. 👐🏼🌾
They also became little bug hunters, searching through the rice to find the hidden bees and pretend bugs! 🐝🐞🔍
Working together as a small group, the children helped to rescue the bugs, developing their teamwork, communication and social skills along the way. 💛
What a fun way to learn, explore and play together! 🌟
