Got a few questions about this movement so here's me ranting a little bit. Stuff I forgot to say:

- did/does wonders for my hamstring graft site

- the feet and legs barely ever get to train in the open chain. For good reason, they're supposed to connect to the ground. But never doing it leaves gains on the table. You do dips and push ups aswell as various weighted press movements for your upper body don't you? Why wouldn't the lower body benefit from the same variety?

- Leg strength and dexterity in the open chain is pretty much exactly what open guard is. I'll tomoe nagi you into next week 😂

I love simple jiu jitsu as much as I love the sophisticated jiu jitsu.

2 thumbs in the suprasternal notch is guaranteed to get a big reaction out of even the most seasoned of grapplers.

If you don't practice the ruthless tactics, they probably won't be there when you need them.
