The Lorrynne School of Dance is located in Thornleigh Community Centre teaching ballet, tap and jazz through Ballet Australasia Limited.
The Lorrynne School of Dance was established in 1993 by sisters Lynne Chester and Lorraine Baines with the opening of the Thornleigh Community Centre and has since been providing a safe and friendly place for all to enjoy dance. We provide a non competitive atmosphere where everyone is encouraged to strive for their own personal best and offer the opportunity to set goals and achieve them. We have

Classes are back on this week and we cannot wait to see everyone!!!
To keep us Covid safe, please remember:
- masks must be worn before and after class for anyone over 12 (luckily not during class like at Demonstration Day last year)
- sanitise at the door
- socially distance while waiting for your lesson
- parents are not allowed in the foyer
We still have spots available in all classes, so contact us if you want to come try us out!

J*A*Z*Z*
One of our most popular and fun styles of dance. Jazz is upbeat and high energy, usually to upbeat songs. It focuses on flexibility, performance and big movements. We offer jazz classes for students aged 5 and up and we encourage everyone to improve upon their own skills, regardless of ability. Contact us for more information about joining one of our super fun jazz classes.

B*A*L*L*E*T
Ballet is our foundational style of dance and focuses on grace, stamina and strength. Ballet involves using the whole body to create beautiful lines and to tell stories. Our ballet classes are fun and inclusive, encouraging all students to keep working towards their personal best. We offer classes from 3 years old, up to adults.
