This is a not for profit, community Preschool run by a management committee of parents. All parents of the children attending the Preschool become members of the organisation and are therefore eligible to stand for election to the committee. The committee is empowered to run the Preschool. The committee determines policy, ensures that sufficient monies are raised, purchases equipment, appoints sta
ff and makes any other decisions necessary for the successful operation of the Preschool. All members are encourages to attend the Annual General Meeting held at night in February each year. At this meeting the yearly objectives are determined, the financial statement is presented and the new management committee is elected. The Preschool is a non-profit organisation, funded by direct government grants, fees collected and fundraising initiatives. These three sources must pay for all our expenses. Parents are therefore requested to support fundraising ventures as this is a vital source of revenue for the Preschool.
