So incredibly proud of all my students and how far they have all come this year. 🥰

It’s the best feeling watching their confidence grow, seeing their happy faces when they tell me that reading is getting easier for them. Seeing their excitement when they understand simple rules, that they know will make reading and spelling so much easier for them. 🐸😍

How lucky am I to call this a ‘job’. For me it’s so much more than that 💞

Can’t wait to continue this journey with my current students and very excited to meet my new students for 2024!!! 🤩

But for now… let’s enjoy the summer! 🥳🤩☀️

I recently attended training with Speld Qld to become a 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗪𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗲𝗿.

The course was so informative and was incredibly lovely to meet several Teachers that had travelled from all over Queensland to attend.

I felt so grateful that we have all these Teachers and other professionals like Speech Therapists that are choosing to continually increase their knoweldge and understanding of Early Literacy in order to help their students 🤩🤩

I can’t wait to implement all my new knowledge and skills moving forward. ⭐️📖

Hope everyone has had lovely school break… I am looking forward to getting back to teaching and excited to see what the last term of the school year brings 😊🐸

All of my students get their own login for Decodeable Readers Australia! 🐸 A fantastic website with over 270 decodeable books and many useful workbooks.

Don’t forget to check out the Phonics Videos - as well as identifying the sound they also give a visual representation on mouth movement/positioning. This can be very helpful for the more difficult and similar sounds like 𝘁𝗵 and 𝗽𝗵 😃
