Exploring Ocean Creatures with Light 💡🦀

Our Preschoolers have been loving exploring the mini beast ocean animals on our interest table lately. This, along with the children's interest in tracing, recently led us to explore these ocean creatures in greater detail with the overhead projector. While tracing these creatures onto paper, the children were able to explore how light can transform and highlight different aspects of the creatures in ways they hadn't considered before, while also giving them the opportunity to strengthen and develop their fine motor skills.

Ngaarrila Preschool Thora currently has some positions available for 3 - 5 year old preschool children.

We are a FREE non for profit community preschool located in the beautiful Thora Valley only 12 minutes from the Thora turnoff. Take a drive through nature's wonderland to our small bush preschool and experience our natural environment, that inspires engagement and learning. Just as we explore our surrounds with walking visits to the river and Orama Primary School.

We are open 9am - 3pm Monday, Thursday and Friday during school terms and our preschool program is run by experienced Early Childhood Teachers and educators.

Once upon a Thora preschool day there was a paper roll, some tape, some coloured paper and lots of imagination. There were some ups and downs and at one point the roll wasn't so sure...but then there was an 8 legged octopus!
