The NAS – National All Styles tournament circuit is one of Australia’s largest and most respected martial arts competitions, bringing together practitioners of all ages, ranks, and disciplines. Whether it’s points sparring, continuous sparring, traditional and creative forms, kata, weaponry, self-defence demonstrations, or even the high-energy extreme martial arts divisions, the NAS provides a platform for everyone to showcase their skills and passion. It’s not only a competition but also a celebration of martial spirit, respect, and diversity.

One of the defining strengths of the NAS is its inclusivity. Over the last 38!years, it has drawn competitors from a wide variety of disciplines such as Karate, Kung Fu, Tae Kwon Do, Hapkido, Silat, Tai Chi, and many more. This diversity highlights the true meaning of “All Styles,” where martial artists from different systems can compete on equal ground while learning from one another.

The circuit’s impartiality and fair competition standards have allowed men, women, and children from across the nation to challenge themselves and grow. Whether you are stepping onto the mat for the first time or a seasoned competitor aiming for national titles, the NAS offers a unique opportunity to test skill, build confidence, and be part of Australia’s martial arts community.

This year’s NAS Championships will be proudly hosted by Mr. Vincent Busuttil, State Director of Victoria, and his dedicated team, who have been working tirelessly to ensure the event is a great success for all participants and attendees.”

NAS/WASO all styles tournament circuit

Hi everybody, reminder the NAS State titles are on Saturday 14th September at Doncaster.

Unfortunately it is same day as gym spar and same day as ISKA (International Sports Karate Association).

ISKA has invited proactive members to the Victorian state championships. But as mentioned NAS is same day. But If you're interested, it's on Sunday, 14 September at Box Hill Sports and Aquatic Centre. They expect 200 competitors, and entries are done online at iska.com.au. If you use the codeword JUMPKICK (all in one word, all uppercase letters) at checkout, you'll receive $10 off your entry.

National All Styles 2025 National confirmed for November 29th & 30th at Doncaster Secondary College.

Proposed AFMA grading dates are;
Freestyle Black & Dan grading November 22nd &
Freestyle Color belt grading 29th. Anyone affected let me know.

Sparring classes have recommenced;

Saturdays at 9:30am are open to all Freestylers & MTK of all ages, incorporating NAS training in both point and continuous sparring.

Tuesdays from 7:45-8pm, sparring will take place at the conclusion of the MTK class commencing at 6:50pm. (Teens and adults only)

Thursday's Tom's Sparring Class is available by appointment from 6:30-7:30pm, with doors opening from 6:15-6:30pm. (Teens and adults only)

LBKA Tournament entry A minimum 3 people to form a kumite division. A short fall in number may see these competitors move up into the next Kyu division. Argument or debate will not be entered into. Referees decisions may be overturned only by the Arbitrator or the Toumament Director, otherwise they are final.

This year promises to be no different, with an amazing lineup of martial artists ranging in age from 5 to 60 participating in over 80 divisions.

National All Styles tournament circuit, bring together a multitude of Martial artists of all ages. Whether you're ready to show your skill in points-sparing,continuous sparing, forms/kata, weaponry, self-defence demonstrations or extreme/MA, Male and female Champion or just want to see some of Australia's best Martial artists in action!

It is a testament to the NAS circuit's popularity and success that a plethora of different martial art organisations, including Kung Fu, Karate, Tae Kwon Do, Silat, Hapkido, and Tai Chi, just to name a few, compete in this tournament Circuit throughout Australia over the past 35 years

Well done everyone yesterday with 12 first timers and a 6 medal haul. Overall great sportsmanship and effort. Proud of you all 👍🏼

NAS tournament Sunday at Doncaster SC. Leo, May, myself, Lisa and Imo and 14 Trinity crew will be there around 9am.

Sparring tomorrow 9:30am as usual.

Best luck for those competing Sunday. Entry tomorrow gives you a shot at state titles October 15.
