On Tuesday 11 August, St Clare’s Catholic Primary School celebrated the Feast Day of our patron saint, St Clare of Assisi.

The day began with a beautiful Mass, followed by a sausage sizzle hosted by our Parent Action Team. Students then enjoyed a Mini Fete, with each class running its own stall.

Some of the money raised will be donated to the Little Sisters of the Poor. We are incredibly proud that our school community raised over $3,000!

A huge congratulations to our Grade 6 students, who raised the most money with their Spider, Ice Cream and Soft Drink stall. What a fantastic effort!

A big thank you to our students, staff, families and Parent Action Team for making the day such a wonderful celebration!

It was wonderful to see so many grandparents join us for our special Grandparents' Day Mass on Friday 31 July. Together, we celebrated the important role grandparents play in our families and honoured the loving example of Saints Anne and Joachim, the grandparents of Jesus. Following Mass, grandparents joined their grandchildren in the classrooms to participate in a special activity, creating wonderful memories and celebrating the precious bond they share.

Last week, our Grade 6 students attended Phillip Island Adventure Camp. Some of the highlights of the camp included the flying fox, low ropes course, archery, visiting the Penguin Parade and a boat tour around Phillip Island.

Everyone had an amazing time and represented our school with pride. Students stepped outside their comfort zones, challenged themselves and strengthened their friendships throughout the camp. It was wonderful to see everyone encouraging one another, showing resilience and creating memories that will last a lifetime.
