Our Prep students had a wonderful time celebrating Phonics Phun Day! Students dressed up as a character that began with the first letter of their name, showcasing their creativity and enthusiasm. Parents were invited into the classrooms to participate in a range of fun phonics activities with their children. It was fantastic to see so many families involved and enjoying this special learning experience together.

Last week, our Grade 6 students participated in a visit from Bahay Tuluyan from the Philippines. Students were immersed in a range of engaging activities that explored themes of social justice and highlighted the inequalities that many people face around the world. Through these experiences, students developed a deeper understanding of the challenges experienced by others and were encouraged to reflect on how they can contribute to creating a more just and compassionate society.

๐โโ๏ธ District Athletics Success! ๐โโ๏ธ
A beautiful day set the scene for one of the best performances ever by our St Clareโs Primary School students at the District Athletics last Wednesday!
Our students were outstanding across all events, achieving fantastic results against 12 other schools. We are incredibly proud not only of their achievements, but also of the humility and sportsmanship they displayed throughout the day ๐
A special mention to our relay teams, who were exceptional once againโfinishing with three 1st places and one 3rd out of six events! An amazing effort, with no other school achieving more than one 1st place ๐ฅ
Congratulations to all students who placed 1st or 2nd in their events and will now progress to the Division Athletics Finals in September. We wish you the very best of luck!

Last week, our Grade 6 students had the wonderful opportunity to hear from Concetta Cantiani, a published poet with a deep understanding of wellbeing. During the workshop, Concetta made meaningful connections between spiritual wellbeing and the inner self, helping students explore these ideas through a beautiful poem she shared. We sincerely thank her for taking the time to speak with our students, who thoroughly enjoyed and benefited from the experience.
