Congratulations to everyone who competed at last night’s Kimura Shukokai Karate invitational tournament.

We are incredibly proud of every student who bravely stepped onto the tatami, challenged themselves, supported their teammates and represented their dojos with respect and spirit.

A huge thank you to all the families who came along to support the students and create such a positive atmosphere.

A special thank you also goes to our judges, referees and officials. Without your time, care and support, last night would not have been possible.

And finally, a big thank you to Sensei Brett and Teri from for joining us and bringing such a great group of students to the event.

A unique opportunity for students here in Australia to learn from key lessons and insights brought back from the 2026 World Chief Instructors Course by Sensei Paul.

Term 2 starts in just over a week, so here are some important dates for students and families to lock in.

There’s a lot happening this term, including a special WCIC Insights Gasshuku, referee training, competition, and upcoming gradings.

All events will be held at the Thirroul Dojo.
